On Friday, June 13, I left behind the hustle and bustle of London to return home to Romania with a special mission: to photograph the civil wedding of my cousin, Raluca, and her chosen one, George. After landing at Sibiu Airport, I set off toward Mediaș a town full of dear memories and beloved people. The roughly 60 kilometers went by quickly, fueled by the anticipation of an important day.
Saturday, June 14, was their day. Raluca and George chose to say “I DO” in front of the civil registrar at the Mediaș City Hall, surrounded by their families and closest friends. It was an intimate, heartfelt, and emotional moment. After the ceremony, I captured a few shots in front of the city hall, where smiles and hugs flowed naturally.
The chosen location for the celebration was Hunting Club a perfect choice for such an occasion. From there, the view over the city was absolutely breathtaking. The landscape, the soft afternoon light, and the joy in everyone’s eyes created the ideal setting for photos that tell the story of this day all on their own.
The evening turned into a vibrant party filled with music, dancing, and lots of good vibes. It was a true pleasure to be part of this event not only as a photographer but also as a member of the family.
On Sunday, after a night full of memories, I returned to London with a full heart. It was a short but intense weekend a beautiful mix of work and personal joy.
Below, you can see a few of the moments captured in images just a small part of a big story, written in smiles, embraces, and glances that say it all. 📷✨
